Unit Painter: Created shaders and code to support brush behaviors and decals in the in-game unit painter (used by players to paint units to use in matches, also used to create our default paintjobs)
AI: Reworked AI gameplay logic to improve utility-based decision-making in Moonbreaker’s strategic turn-based battles
Gameplay Visualizations: Worked on shaders and code to support visualizations for various gameplay elements such as cover region outlines, ranged attack cover interaction, AOE ability footprints, valid move area pathing
Tech Art: Worked on tools and features for artists such in-scene vertex painter and unit footprint & trail maps
Roster Banners: Implemented customizable roster banners
UI: Implemented UI for various screens such as match results screen, first-time help screens
Input: Switched input handling to Unity’s new Input System and added support for control remapping
Rewards & Entitlements: Created spreadsheet import system to enable designers to easily edit rewards earned from unit mastery and season track, also added support for reward previews
Pathing: Worked on improvements for quad-tree-based pathing
